55th Reunion Update #2 1/20/26

Happy New 2026 Year and to our upcoming 55th class reunion weekend this August 7-8.

Here are updates from my #1 12/18/25 email:

1) Your survey responses to our reunion date question overwhelmingly showed the preferred date of Saturday August 8. So I called the Park Place back and reserved that dinner party date from 5pm - midnight..

2) The dinner food selection will be similar to our 50th with the items placed on the long table for self serve again. In my next update I will attach the list of menu items and they do offer a vegan dinner.

3) For Friday 7th evening I also called Nick Marano"s Falls Sports Lounge (on Carlisle at Outer Drive) to ask if  we can meet up there that evening and they said yes. That will be a fun evening with reminiscing conversations, having a libation (you buy) and hopefully be able to give you your new name/picture badge. Note: based on your feedback we'll try and have your picture and name be larger on this badge, so it's easier for other's to see and remember who you are.

4) Many of you asked if we can get a EFHS hallways walk around on Saturday morning. I will contact the school to see if we can set that up. Note: I did a walk around at our 50th, alot is the same, but some things look a little aged and the hallways/lockers seem smaller.    

5) For those of you who attended our 50th we hope you will join us again for our 55th (I attached a list of those 50th folks below). We'd also like to see more folks attend our 55th (I heard peer pressure convinced more folks to attend last time).

NOTE: I really need to have a few volunteers to help make this reunion a bigger success. The work will be easy like be the person the dinner $$ are sent to, be a local resource if needed (I live in Chicago) and other easy stuff that comes up along the way.  Please say yes to be a volunteer, your response will only be seen by me.
