55th Reunion update #4 6/8/2026 - We need more yes/serious to attend!!

Hello classmates, I need to give a critical update about our August 8th reunion dinner. We need more folks to attend the dinner!! So far only 19 folks (12 yes, 7 seriously considering and 15 no) shows on our website. In comparison in early June'21 75 folks had said yes or serious and we had almost 120 folks attend our 2021 dinner.

Thinking we would could have +/- 100 folks attend this August dinner I used the 100 number in checking out the 7 locations, determined the $75/person cost and personally paid the $500 deposit.

We have a July 1st deadline to lock in the Dearborn Banquet Hall room for about 100 folks.

So what do we do for a reunion dinner if for example we only have +/- 50 folks attend? 

At this late date I will call around to see if I can still get a smaller room for the evening that will serve dinner on Saturday August 8.

Below is a new survey to help us figure this out. Basically the survey has  2 questions:

1) The repeat question of yes, serious or no about attending the dinner (everyone please respond so I have a fresh count).

2) This question will ask if you any new ideas at this point about getting together on Saturday August 8.  For example having dinner at a smaller location, just getting a meeting room at a nice Dearborn tavern or what ever comes to mind.

As you probably know I'm an upbeat and positive person, so I hope we get more yes/serious responses with this survey and again have a fun reunion evening together.

If we do not have enough folks for a large banquet hall dinner party an idea might be to arrange to just reserve a private party room at a nice tavern (maybe arrange to have finger food available) and you buy what you want to drink.
